Dominic Lusinchi

• Short Biography:

Mr. Lusinchi has been working as a researcher for over two decades.

Aside from his responsibilities at Far West Research, he chairs the Electronic Design Automation Consortium’s Market Statistics Service committee, which publishes the quarterly revenues of the EDA industry. As the statistician on the committee, his role is to support the process of reviewing the industry's revenue data and insure the integrity of the information before publication.

He also does consulting work for Statistical Analysis Inc., a consulting firm that provides litigation research involving statistical issues.

He gives seminars on statistics, survey research and statistical software to professionals in various industries and fields on a regular basis.

Prior to his current responsibilities, Mr. Lusinchi has worked for companies in the private sector, as well as for governmental agencies, and international organizations.

He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and holds advanced degrees from the Department of Economics and Mathematical Methods of the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris, France), and received a Ph.D. (sociology; specialty area: statistics) from the University of Paris.
